Miniaturization and High Performance

Carbon-ceramic clutches for Formula 3 race cars have excellent wear resistance and heat resistance. It has a longer lifespan than a conventional clutch system. These excellent characteristics enable the miniaturization of the clutch thus enabling lightweight and low-centered design, which lead to high performance. DACC Carbon started developing the carbon-ceramic clutch for high-performance automobiles with the clutch system specialized manufacturer in 2018 and completed its development in 2019 and is currently being actively produced. High-performance carbon-ceramic clutches are applied on special purposed vehicles like formula race cars and supercars with high-rotation and high-power engines.
