Carbon-Ceramic Brake disc for High-Performance Cars

In 2005, DACC Carbon started developing carbon-ceramic brake discs for high-performance cars based on the manufacturing technology of carbon brake discs for aircraft. In 2007, we became the second company in the world to complete developing and entered the market. Even after completing the development, we improved performance and secured manufacturing technology through continuous R&D and cooperation projects. Carbon-ceramic brake has superior durability, wear resistance, heat resistance, and lightness compared to the conventional cast-iron brake discs. It lasts more than four times longer in lifespan and shows stable brake performance in high temperatures over 500℃ without fading compared to cast-iron brake discs. These high-quality, high-performance carbon-ceramic brake discs are applied to many vehicles that brake performance and lightness are crucial, such as race cars and supercars. Currently produced products have outer diameters up to 440mm and thickness of 40T, depending on the orders.
