F-16 Block32 Carbon Brake Disc

F-16 Block32 Carbon Brake Disc

40 F-16 block32 were introduced and in operation by the Republic of Korea Air Force. DACC Carbon completed the localization of its carbon brake discs in 1998 and has been exclusively supplying them to the ROKAF since 1999. It has been in operation for more than 20 years and has fully validated our product’s performance, reliability, and durability.
Since its localization, starting with the export to the Greek Air Force in 2001, we exported to Royal Thai Air Force, Royal Norwegian Air Force, Indonesian Air Force, and Chilean Air Force. We are gradually expanding its market to all air forces operating F-16s.

F-16 Block52 Carbon Brake Disc

F-16 Block52 Carbon Brake Disc

Followed by the successful F-16 block32 carbon brake disc development in 1998, we additionally developed carbon brake discs for F-16 Block52 in 2001. The F-16 Block52 is a fighter jet licensed in Korea through the Korean Fighter Program(KFP) and the ROKAF has introduced and operated 140 of them as the main fighter jets.
Since its localization in 2001, the carbon brake discs of DACC Carbon has been operated and evaluated for 20 years and proved its performance and durability. As a result, we are exporting them to the overseas Air Forces operating F-16 Block52, along with the carbon brake discs of F-16 Block32.

T/TA/FA-50 Carbon Brake Disc

T/TA/FA-50 Carbon Brake Disc

In 2007, DACC Carbon localized the carbon brake discs of T-50, the 10th developed advanced supersonic jet trainer in the world by Korea Aerospace Industries(KAI), T/A-50(Lead-in Fighter Trainer, LIFT), F/A-50(Light combat aircraft). We are solely supplying them to the ROKAF in full. Including T-50, T/A-50, F/A-50 operated by the ROKAF, the aircraft exported by KAI to overseas air forces including Indonesian Air Force, Philippine Air Force, Royal Thai Air Force, and Iraqi Air Force are all using our carbon brake discs.

F-15K Carbon Brake Disc

F-15K Carbon Brake Disc

ROKAF is operating 60 F-15Ks produced by Boeing. The fighter jet is based on F-15E for U. S Air Force and modified for the environments of South Korea. DACC Carbon is working on localizing the carbon brake discs of Boeing F-15K for ROKAF since the price is more than twice as expensive compared to F-16 fighter jets and the MRO(Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) is difficult.

KF-X Carbon Brake Disc

KF-X Carbon Brake Disc

The Korean Government is working on the next-generation fighter jet project through Korea Aerospace Industries(KAI) to replace the aging fighter jets of the ROKAF. Starting with the production of the prototype and test flight by 2020, it is planned to finish the development by 2025 and operated by ROKAF from 2026. This aircraft is a fine fighter jet built with its own technologies from Korea. DACC carbon is currently developing the carbon brake discs of the KF-X based on our technology and experience from carbon brake disc technologies for supersonic trainer T-50.
