Challenger 601 Carbon Brake Disc
With the localized technology for carbon brake discs of F-16 Block32, Block52, and the development and production experience for carbon brake discs of T-50, DACC Carbon with our American partner company started developing carbon brake discs of Challenger 601 by Bombardier, the business jet manufacturer.
As a result of years of continuous efforts, in 2016, DACC Carbon obtained the Parts Manufacturer Approval(PMA) granted by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), despite the very high entry barriers due to the nature of the aviation industry, and succeeded in exporting for the first time in 2019. With this, we are expanding our business areas to the carbon brake discs of commercial aircraft in addition to those of Korean domestic military aircraft.
Challenger 604 Carbon Brake Disc
Based on the FAA PMA approval for carbon brake discs of Bombardier's Challenger 601, DACC Carbon got another FAA PMA approval for the carbon brake discs of the succeeding model, Challenger 604, in coordination with our American partner in 2017.
We concluded the contract in 2018 and started exporting the carbon brake discs for these models and Challenger 601 from 2019.
DACC Carbon is expanding our business area and capacity through continuous investment in commercial aircraft projects and continuing the development of carbon brake discs for various aircrafts.
